Route 11 Yard Crawl - bargain hunting in the Shenandoah!
August 4, 2008 by Haidee
Hard core antique hunters and amateur shoppers alike will have fun rooting through bargain finds at the Route 11 Yard Sale Crawl happening this Saturday, August 9.
Just 1.5 hours from Cville up route 81, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, the towns of New Market, Strasburg, Edinburgh and Woodstock host this annual event with miles of sidewalk sales, antiques, yard sales, food & wine. Take 64W to 81N and get ready to bargain hunt at exits 298 - 264. Click here for more information.

Went to yard crawl last week from Washington, DC and it was alot of fun. Only wished it was more “yard sale” stuff and not all the antiques (they are never a bargain). See you next year!
Debi - thanks so much for the review. Glad to hear it was fun. I hear ya on the difficulties of finding a bargain on antiques. Do you have any recommendations on where else one can go for a good deal? I’ve always enjoyed a stop in at Lucketts on Route 15 just past Leesburg. Good prices and great finds.
