Weekend Scene Events: Tough Choice!

It’s either a good thing or a bad thing that we have to decide between two fundraiser events this Friday. Lighthouse has their 7th Annual Youth Film Festival and the 2nd Annual Emmalyn Miller Event will raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia.
7th Annual Youth Film Festival
The evening will showcase the best short films created by local teens in the past year including animation, documentary, music video, and narrative films. Cocktails will begin at 6:30 pm, followed by the 8 pm screening.
2nd Annual Emmalyn Miller Event
Carrie Miller is a mother to 3 children - her middle child, Emmalyn, having been diagnosed with uncontrolled epilepsy. After seeing the effects of epilepsy on her child and family, Mrs. Miller had a vision to hold a major fundraising event for the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia. Her goal was to raise funds to be used to further epilepsy education and awareness.
