No More Slip Ups!

While the summer season winds down (fall starts on Monday, eek!), and temperatures dip into the mid-50’s overnight, I hesitate to even write about skirts for fear they will be an endangered species for the next 7 months.  However, in true Charlottesville fashion, we’re bound to experience at least one more heat wave before the real fall and winter weather kicks in.

So I’m going to lay my pet peeve on the line: I can’t stand it when women don’t wear slips under their [see-through] skirts.  Read more

My favorite bra is on sale at Derriere de Soie!

I have been meaning to write about a source of stress for many ladies, including myself. That topic is the love / hate relationship of the bra. Actually, mine is just a hate relationship. I hate them. I don’t like wearing bras, especially in the heat and humidity of the summer.

I bring this up because, for someone who hates bras with a passion, when I have to wear one, I must say that Timpa bras are the most fabulous. It is as close to bralessness as you could possibly get. Read more
